Dr. Clark McLaughlin is a Board-Certified Pediatrician dedicated to helping families raise healthy, resilient children through thoughtful, evidence-informed, relationship-centered care.
He was born and raised in El Dorado Hills, California, and from an early age was fascinated by how the body works, how it heals and how caring for it can transform a life. He studied Microbiology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, graduating in 2015, then earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada in 2020. He completed his pediatric residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2023.
During and after medical training, he also founded a medical school board exam training and tutoring company and an interview coaching company for professionals, which he has continued to run on the side since graduating. This work reflects his passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping future physicians and professionals succeed with confidence and clarity.
His faith in Jesus shapes both his life and his approach to care in clinical decision-making. He is deeply connected to his church family and values investing time and relationships within his local community.
Dr. Clark McLaughlin practices pediatrics with a focus on prevention, education, and root-cause understanding. He is especially passionate about nutrition, healthy development, and helping families build strong foundations that support lifelong wellness.
Little Wellness Pediatrics was created from a desire to practice pediatrics differently, with more time, deeper relationships, and a stronger partnership between physician and family. His goal is to slow the pace of care enough to truly know each child, answer the questions families often leave with, and walk alongside parents as confident leaders in their child’s health.
