Core Pediatric Membership

Our practice operates on a direct primary care membership model, allowing families consistent access to pediatric care with clear expectations and transparent pricing. We care for children from birth through age 21.

Membership Pricing

Monthly Core Membership

  • 1 Child: $145 per month
  • 2 Children: $255 per month
  • Family (3+ children): $360 per month (family maximum)

One-Time Registration Fee

  • $170 per child, or
  • $335 family maximum when children are enrolled at the same time
Registration fees are required at enrollment and are non-refundable.

What’s Included in Membership

Each enrolled child receives up to 16 visits per year, which may include:
  • Well-child visits
  • Sick visits
  • Problem-focused visits
  • Newborn and infant care
  • Developmental screening
  • Growth and routine nutrition guidance as part of pediatric care
  • Behavioral and emotional health evaluation within the scope of primary care
  • Medication management related to included care
  • Secure portal messaging related to active clinical concerns
  • Routine school and daycare forms

Included In-Office Testing (No Additional Cost)

  • Rapid strep testing
  • Rapid influenza testing
  • Rapid COVID testing
  • RSV testing
  • Monospot testing
  • Urinalysis
  • Stool occult blood testing
  • Urine pregnancy testing

Visit Limits & Additional Visits

Membership includes up to 16 visits per child per year.
If a child reaches the annual visit limit:
  • Additional visits may be available at the clinic’s discretion
  • Each additional visit is $40, and Procedures performed during visits are included in the membership

Children who routinely exceed the visit limit may require a reassessment of whether this membership model is the best fit.

Membership Procedures

Certain in-office procedures are Included.

Examples include:

  • Simple laceration repair
  • Abscess incision and drainage
  • Foreign body removal
  • Ear wax removal
  • Minor wound care

Lactation Support Package (Optional)

For families seeking more focused lactation support beyond routine newborn care:
  • $400 total for 5 × 30-minute visits
This package provides dedicated evaluation and guidance. More complex cases may be referred to specialized lactation services if needed.

Adolescent Sports & Exercise Medicine (Optional)

This service is designed for older children and adolescents involved in competitive or high-intensity sports who want more detailed evaluation beyond routine sports clearance.
Services may include:
  • Sport-specific assessment and optimization
  • Injury prevention guidance
  • Strength, flexibility, and conditioning recommendations
  • Evaluation of musculoskeletal concerns related to athletic performance
  • Screening EKG when clinically appropriate
This service focuses on advanced athletic guidance and is not required for routine sports participation.

What’s Not Included in Membership

Membership does not include:
  • Emergency room or hospital care
  • Specialist or subspecialty visits
  • Imaging studies (X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI)
  • Laboratory testing performed outside the office
  • Counseling or psychotherapy
  • Advanced mental health therapy
  • Adult medical care
  • Unlimited visits

Insurance & Payment Information

Little Wellness Pediatrics:
  • Does not participate in or bill insurance
  • Does not participate in Medicare, TennCare/Medicaid, TRICARE, or CHAMPVA
Membership fees:
  • Are paid directly by families
  • Are not insurance
  • Do not count toward deductibles or out-of-pocket maximums
We strongly recommend maintaining health insurance for hospital care, specialty care, and emergencies.
